  1. Beautiful photographs. You are truly gifted. Thank you for sharing these. Will be checking back often. Cold, cold winter day here in Indiana but your flowers remind me spring will come.

Hoping you are the William Long KHS class of ’74

        1. Thank you Linda.
          “Great Photographer,” hmm, perhaps.
“Great Artist,” I’m working on that one! 🙂

  2. Enjoyed picking out favorites in a “year end review”. Some for the stories they tell, some just because they’re stunning.
The potted flower repeated like the days of Covid isolation
Johnny jump ups dwarfed by rocks
The hibiscus completely open to the world
    Drying cormorant wings
Nonchalant bird on the high voltage wires
The 8 ducklings following their parent

    1. As a “Young Artist” there is a lot of variety in my work because I’m still growing, learning, exploring and generally having fun while finding my artistic voice / vision. Getting comments / feedback from an experienced artist like yourself is truly an honor. Thank you Lola.

  3. …I just got through looking at all your artwork on here. For being a “Young Artist ;)” , it is really amazing. You are definitely very talented. I am very impressed!….

    1. Thank you Megan! I began the journey from left-brained scientist/engineer to right-brained artist in 2008. It’s taken me a while, but I finally feel comfortable calling myself an “artist.” Although not young in age, when it comes to art, I’m still an infant compared to the many talented classmates I’ve met while getting my A.A. degree in Fine Art (printmaking). Many of these artists have not only been a source of inspiration for me, but have also been mentors who have helped me develop the “talent” you refer to.
