As an amateur photographer, I’ve done social documentary photography and fine art nudes most of my life. However, after being laid off in 2008, because of the Global Financial Crisis, I went to school to study art. I now have an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Laney College in Oakland, California where I studied printmaking. Since graduating, I’ve been exploring the world of art, particularly printmaking (etching and lithography), creative writing (memoir), and photography (as art, versus social documentary photography) with the goal of starting a new career as an artist.
